Motion Detection Zones

I set motion detection areas to minimize alerts (I want to see my driveway, not every car passing down the street), but they don't "stick". If I go back in later, the whole screen for the camera is completely filled with red blocks. I deselect those I don't want triggering, but later, when I go back, they are selected again.

What is the proper procedure to set motion detection zones and keep the settings?

First, I'm not sure if WardenCam is still in "business". No responses from this group, nor direct via email. iPhone 6 never keeps the motion detection areas. It's all or nothing. If I deselect what I don't want as trigger areas, the motion detection turns off once I exit. When I turn it back on the motion detection area is the entire screen. I don't want to know every time a car passes my damn house!!! Is there a way to get my money back?
