There are two new versions of LDSql available on the downloads page:

http://www.ldsql.com/home/downloads

The v 0.9.13 release supports MLS version 3.3.0 and later, which
dropped the MRN (Member Record Number) from the Membership.csv file.

LDSql itself is not forwards- or backwards-compatible with different
versions of MLS exports. However, Ward Tools developers do maintain
such compatibility in their loading processes. They are best advised
to use v 0.9.12 of LDSql, which did support the MRN column directly.
The MRN column in the final LDSql database in v 0.9.13 is empty and
deprecated, but still present.

Both versions include new support for Spanish-language MLS exports, a
tweak to cope with a bug in MLS export file Organization.csv, and some
loading optimization.

p.s. Thanks to Steve and Ryan for the Spanish language support. I
have been remiss in not incorporating their work earlier.

FYI to Ward Tools developers:

I now have embarked on a long-overdue refactoring of most of the date
arithmetic in LDSql. Not only is the current SQL date-calculation
code way too complex, it results in erroneous calculations of age in
certain edge cases.

I really should have done this earlier, and now I will have to carry
these date changes into both the recent forks (v 0.9.12 with the MRNs
in the input files, and v 0.9.13 without the MRNs.) Further evidence
that it is usually better to get it right the first time.

Testing and publishing these changes will surely take a few days of my
spare time. In case anyone was planning on a Ward Tools build based
on v 0.9.12, you might want to wait for v 0.9.12.1.
