The Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art, Salisbury University, invites students
from the Delmarva Peninsula to submit their artwork to the annual
Student Art Exhibit. This year’s theme is “Art and the Animal.”

The Ward Museum understands that a key element to perpetuating art is
instilling an appreciation for it in younger generations. The
non-competitive Student Art Show is open to all students on the Delmarva
Peninsula in kindergarten through 12th grade in public and private
schools, as well as homeschool students. The Ward Museum is proud to
display students' artwork in the Welcome Gallery from February 12 to
March 14, 2010.

Requirements:
• Students may use a variety of flat or 3-D mediums. They may use
paints, sketch boards, color pencils, crayons, photography, or
sculpture.
• All artwork must be no larger than 18” x 24” (including
matting).
• 3-D standing art must have a footprint of 12” x 12” or less.
• All flat art must be matted with a minimum one inch BLACK border.
Hooks for hanging are not required.
• Please attach a student label with students name, age/grade, and
school name on the back of the respective student’s piece.

See attached documents for more details. For more information, please
