Ward Museum- Block Printing
SALISBURY, MD---The Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art, Salisbury University, presents "Block Printing" with Martha Graham 10 a.m.- 4 p.m., Saturday, June 13. Participants will learn to carve relief designs on linoleum blocks for use in printing. Use design techniques for garden-inspired cards, stationary, books, fabric, walls, and more. Images of flowers, birds, and insects are the source of inspiration and will be modified for print. Bring images for inspiration or choices will be available. All materials and tools are provided. Leave with a completed block and several prints. View a demonstration of the class online at Cost is $25 for members, $30 for non-members, and $15 for youth ages thirteen and above.
