Ward Museum - Family Holiday Crafts Event

The Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art, Salisbury University, will host a
Family Holiday Crafts event from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 5.

The Ward Museum's Family Holiday Crafts event is going GREEN! Create
and make personalized gifts like jewelry, ornaments, wreaths, bird
feeders and other crafts from recycled and sustainable materials. Prices
range from $1-$5 per item for walk-in craft projects. Refreshments and
snacks will be sold, and all participants receive free admission to the
museum.

Children may also participate in a special youth-only “Paint a
Shorebird Carving” workshop as part of Family Holiday Crafts.
Sponsored by the Chincoteague Decoy Carvers and Artists Association, two
workshops will be held at 12:30 and 2:00 p.m. and the cost is $5 per
child. Space in the workshops is limited and pre-registration is
recommended. Paint a shorebird to keep as your own or to give as a
gift.

See attached flyers for more details. For more information or to
register, please call 410-742-4988, or email
WardEd...@salisbury.edu.
