Teacher Appreciation Week is May 13-17 - We need your Help!

Dear Friends,

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week is May 13-17.

The PTA would like to honor the teachers and staff at WJHS throughout
the week by putting small gifts in their mailboxes Monday through
Thursday and then hosting a DESSERT EXTRAVAGANZA in the Faculty Lounge
on Friday.

We invite you to help in this effort. Perhaps you would like to take a
day to prepare a gift for teacher mailboxes (maybe a bag of cookies, or
a “Tension Tamer” tea bag with a note, or some candy kisses, etc.) I
think there are about 80 teacher boxes, but I will get an exact count
this week. Maybe you and a friend could work together on one day of the
week. The PTA has a budget of $150 for Staff Appreciation, which would
work out to $30 per day, if you would like to be reimbursed for
expenses.

Or, you could help by bringing a dessert to the school on Friday (or
dropping it off to my house prior to Friday morning) for our Dessert
Extravaganza. We hope to have a feast of sweets and goodies available
in the Faculty Lounge that day. Please contact Jennifer Weisel at
