Hi folks,

I recently worked with a group of fellow practitioners to update and extend NAPA's list of best practices for applied anthropology and related resources. Please have a look when you have a chance. They are designed to remind us of our shared, optimal approaches to practice, and in particular are a resource for students and new practitioners.

Provide feedback on the comments page to any of the practices or resources. And feel free to submit your own best practices. These best practices are a living document. As such they will continue to grow and be refined as we work together to build a comprehensive set of best practices.

NAPA is also looking for teams to create specialized best practices for specific areas of focus (e.g., medical anthro, monitoring/evaluation work, int'l development, etc.), so tell us if you are interested in creating such a team.

Visit the main page here and spend some time looking through the materials: https://www.practicinganthropology.org/practice/best-practices/

And please help out by forwarding this message to colleagues and associates, particularly educators who teach the current cohort of colleagues.

Thanks and happy first day of Autumn!
Terry
