Hi Wonderful Wannabeasts!

Hope you are having a good week! Start hydrating now for our long run on Saturday! This week we will be running from Raleigh Running Outfitters on Six Forks Road. We will first do ten together as one group, and then those doing more will head out together again for more miles. The exact details and route of those miles after 10 will be worked out once we know the number of people who are going particular distances on Saturday. It should be cooler than our last long run, but it is still important to remember to drink and stay hydrated. Also try to get a good night's sleep before the run! 

We are getting into some long mileage now, so start experimenting with different types of fuel and figure out what will work best for you on race day--you want to figure out what works best for keeping your energy up without giving you any stomach issues. Also you can try out whatever garb you plan to wear on race day. Find out now if it chafes, or has any other problem rather than finding out on race day!

The Wannabeasts are providing the treats this week, so some of your fearless leaders will be setting out the treats before arriving at RRO to start the run. Thank you to all who contributed. Buying all that fruit, candy, pretzels, cookies, etc. does add up, so if you haven't had a chance to contribute yet, please feel free to hand your donation to a leader this week. Thank you so much!
