City of Oaks water stop #15 still needs volunteers! Can you help?

If you aren’t already volunteering, please consider signing up to volunteer at water stop #15, one of the Galloway waterstops.  That big stop is still in need of volunteers. Below is a note from the water stop coordinator, Jeannie Armagost:

 

I am the Coordinator of Water Stop #15 for the City of Oaks, this stop is located at Crabtree Valley with a lot of activity happening at this stop. This stop is the rely exchange for 2 legs: # 3 and #4.  We are the only stop that supplies wash clothes this is always an added plus and welcome relief to runners late in their marathon.  If you are not running this great event, please consider coming out as a volunteer.  Remember also if any of your kids need Volunteer Hours, we accommodate!

We have lots of fun at the stop and yes I do provide Danish, cookies, bagels, if you prefer an egg sandwich or pancakes (nothing like our Galloway Bash...) McDonald's is right there.

Parking is plentiful as well as port-a-potties...what more could a volunteer need?
