Hi everyone,

I am interested in using the Wandboard to drive a display requiring both lvds-channels to work in interleaved mode because of its resolution of 1920x1080 pixels (LG LM215WF4).

After checking the EDM1 connector spec I believe there is only one LVDS-channel present. Otherwise, I found http://www.wandboard.org/images/downloads/wandboard-debug-lvds-ttl-expansion-board.pdf which mentions both channels on different connectors. I am not sure if the length of the signal path coming from both connectors can be suffiently matched to drive a single display.

Has somebody done somthing like this already?

Best regards,
Robert

Hello,

I have not tested it, but I am working on LVDS single channel. I checked using both channels and came to the conclusion it is not that easy possible. LVDS1 goes only to testpoints on SOC module. Suppose you would have to solder some cables and match signal cable length and impedance.

Hi All,

I read above post. I also working on Wandboard Solo for my new project.

I'm also trying to enable lvds on wandboard-solo. I'm using yocto bsp with kernel 3.10.17-r0.
After compiling and deploying the kernel, the zimage was dumped to the sdcard.
For this I follow the links "http://wiki.wandboard.org/index.php/Getting_started_with_Yocto_on_Wandboard" & "http://wiki.wandboard.org/index.php/Building_Qt5_using_yocto_on_Wandboard".
After following all the steps as given in the links i'm not getting the display on lvds. I've posted the serial log file at "http://pastebin.com/nXgcGKkY" for your reference.
The LCD i'm using is https://www.koe-europe.com/doc/TX31D38VM2BAA.pdf.<https://www.koe-europe.com/doc/TX31D38VM2BAA.pdf.Do> Do i need to do something in addition? Please let me know. Can anyone please help on this.

Thanks & Regards,

Hello Robert,

Did you eventually manage to find a solution for this? I would be very interested to know how. I have a similar requirement at the moment.

Thanks,

Abhay
