HI ...

I just want to try ton install a WAMP ROUTER on an old ubuntu (12.04), to test.
There are plenty of implementations, but I just need the basics, the lightweight one !

crossbar seems too bloated ...
bonefish seems dead ?
wampcc seems to be just a lib.
the go version : I can't compile it
the lua/nginx seems to complex
searching "wamp" on google is a nightmare (php things)
...

Where can I find a "exe" which works out of the box ?
is there a tutorial somewhere ?

thanks in advance

I tested thruway and it works perfectly, especially if you came from PHP background

Hi,

I'm the maintainer of wampcc project.  It does contain an example of a basic router  that would be suitable for simple testing of rpc & pub/sub (its at examples/basic/basic_embedded_router.cc).   It builds as part of the gnu autotools build.  You would need to build it from scratch (including its dependent libraries -- libuv & jansson), all fairly straight-forward.  Note that for ubuntu 12.04, you will need to upgrade your g++ to at least version 4.8 ( these instructions for suitable for upgrade of g++ https://gist.github.com/ibogun/ec0a4005c25df57a1b9d  )
