Also, i don't quite remember having deliberately engaging my literary senses with plays. The last time i enjoyed a play was when i read "waiting for Godot" by Samuel Beckett. Other plays i have enjoyed (without being coerced by my literature teacher to read and enjoy them) were "the government inspector" by Nikolai Gogol and midsummer night's dream by the Bard of England.

I love that one too, ''Waiting for Godot''.

I'm ashamed to say that the only plays i have ever read are:

1. the government inspector" by Nikolai Gogol - I read in school as part of the curriculum but i enjoyed it. Lovely story.
2. I'll Marry When I want- Ngugi wa Thiong'o - The English & Kikuyu version. Really struggled with the Kikuyu version but it's definitely better than the English version.
