Attached please find the Walter Panas High School Awards ceremony program from last year.  As we discussed on the phone, it would be greatly appreciated if you could get me the Class of 2003's scholarship information by the beginning of next week so I can put it on the scholarship committee's agenda.

Hi guys! So I just read through the list of all these awards and was even taking notes on what kinds of awards are being given. Oddly enough I saw NONE with student government involvement. Here are my thoughts on criteria:

WPHS Class of 2003 Exemplary Student Body Representative Award

Positive presence in and out of the classroom, respect from students and faculty. Possesses leadership qualities, good citizenship and had consistent involvement in student government throughout HS career.

Sorry guys. I'm stuck in a meeting. Won't make the call. Although I like the idea Jenna proposed for an award. Would also like to present it at awards night w/ whoever is able to be there.

Alright, Jenna and I talked quickly, though sounds like neither she or I could make it to the awards ceremony.

 

I agree with Stef that Jenna’s idea is a great one.  I shuffled around the description and added a little, below, if you guys agree:

Awarded to a student who has been consistently involved in student government throughout his or her high-school career, who possesses excellent leadership qualities; is a good citizen and a positive influence in and out of the classroom; is respected by students and faculty alike; and has strong potential to use his or her leadership abilities to make an impact on his or her community in college and beyond.

So sorry folks...work has taken over my life...that's what happens when you go on vacation for a week.

I might be able to make it for the awards ceremony, I need to check my schedule to be sure.  Stef, do you think you would be able to attend?  Or maybe we can open it up to student gov't reps for our class?
