Hey all,

Two things:

1) Do we have any wiggle room in the budget to comp or offer a discounted rate to any of our former teachers we would like to invite?
I know with the rough figures in previous emails we were pretty close to $75/head, not sure if that has been finalized yet.

2) Should we use the website to poll our class to see who they would like to invite to our reunion?

Let me know your thoughts, thanks :)

1)       I think we should put together a quick spreadsheet on this.  Stef, since you have been coordinating with the venue and seem closest to the numbers, any way you can make a Google Doc or something and send around?  This way we can tinker with it and see what we can afford.  It would be great to get more precise on cost so we can figure out if we can comp at least Mr. Wax and then maybe the teachers to whom we dedicated our senior yearbook (Ms. Schultz and Ms. Sandground).

2)       I would be more inclined to do this for teachers beyond the ones above, just to make our lives easier J, but am certainly not opposed to using this method to determine all teachers to invite if you guys prefer it.

I agree, Pam, and would like to be able to offer a comp (plus one?) for Mr.Wax at least.  If we can swing doing the same for Ms. Schultz and Ms. Sandground that would be great; let me know if that's an option.

I would like to use the website or Facebook page or both for some input from our classmates as to who they would like to see there, as long as everyone's in agreement.  I do think anyone suggested in addition to the three mentioned above should probably pay the $75, as I'm sure we don't have that much wiggle room.

Guys

The idea is great and genuine but before we commit the additional $225 that needs to be absorbed for 3 comps we should consider evaluating the finances and tickets sold.

In reality, any of the 3 below could afford the expense if we couldn't.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks, Stef.  I bet that winds up being the case…  but is there a way we can put together a little Excel that enables us to toy with this stuff (and also have a per-person budget)?  I am happy to do this weekend if I have some details from Table Nine including tax, mandatory gratuities, etc.
