Dear Neighbours:

 

Councillor Martens’ motion regarding the road dieting and installation of the 30 km/hr zone near Topham Elementary passed unanimously at today’s council meeting. 

 

Councillor Martens mentioned that council received 12 letters in support of her motion and she noted that this is evidence of the community’s concern for safety along 216^th.

 

Thank you to all of you who took the time to write to the Council.  The level of support for agenda items and the degree of neighbourhood involvement do make an impression on our representatives. 

 

We all are the eyes, ears and voices of our community.  Council will only know about issues if we tell them.
