Storm Debris Pick-up

Hey Walnuts,

I don't know if anyone else's yard looks like they hacked down a small tree after last night's storm, but ours sure does!  I called 311 to figure out what we are supposed to do about larger limbs that fall and was told that we can bring them to the front (where you usually place branches/garden waste) and chop down to a size manageable by 1 person.  This was kind of vague, but they said there are no real size requirements because they recognize that this is due to a storm and the sizes will vary greatly.  You can then call 311 and let them know you have storm debris for them to pick up at your house and they'll come get it.  I was not aware of this, but have never had that many branches down after one storm before!

Just some information that I hope might be useful to pass along.
