Wallpapery App not working

Does this app currently work on a MacBook Air M1, 2020? I downloaded it and don't know how to get it to work.. The icon is on the top right corner, but the background doesn't show. It just stays on one of the Apple backgrounds. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
