Explanation: Lakshman shastri was born in brahmin family in 1901 in the village pimpalner in Dhule district of Maharashtra. He left his home at the age of 14 years and after that he studied Sanskrit and the indian philosophy. He earned a degree of tarkteerth in 1923. He was appointed as a president of Maharashtra state of literature and culture in 1960 and he served for a long time period as the president of the project of compiling vishwakosh. Raghunath Bhaskar godbole created Bharatvarshiya Arvachin Charitrakosh, which is the early encyclopedia on history related subjects.
