Dear all,
I am having trouble uploading my occurrence data although I made it in CSV and prepared it accordingly.

I am attaching the file for your reference. I would be glad to have your thoughts on this.

THANKS

Hi Arjun,
You need to change the name of the columns to "name", "longitude", "latitude" if you are using v1.1.3 or "scientific_name", "longitude", "latitude" if you are using a developmental version (Do not include the quotation marks). Make sure it is a .csv file and then it should work

Dear all,
Capturev.PNG

Dear all,
I'm working on version v2.1.2 of wallace and I have difficulty to add my csv file. I have followed all recommendations: "scientific_name", "longitude", "latitude" for the columns. I need your help. Please consider positively this email. Thank you

Hello,
On inspection, it appears the Afzelia file is using semicolons to delimit, instead of the typical commas. Apologies that the log window message is not helpful in clarifying this issue, I'll see if I can adjust it.
However, it's an easy fix. Just check the box to define the delimit-separated and decimal values, and change the comma (,) to a semicolon (;). This will get the data to load.

If anyone else is having trouble loading user-specified data and receiving the error message " ! ERROR : Please input a file with columns "scientific_name", "longitude", "latitude"." always follow these steps:
1. Make sure the file is a .csv
2. Make sure the first three columns are properly named and in this order: scientific_name, longitude, latitude
3. Check your delimiter and decimal values. This box can be checked to specify the delimiter-separator and the decimal separators. They are typically a comma and a period, but this is not always the case.
