I am learning Wallace now. I am trying to load the user-specified option in Module 4 Process Env. I tried uploading the  .csv file of India Boundary but there is an issue here. 

I would be grateful for your suggestions and help.

Hi Suresh,

What version of Wallace are you using and what seems to be the issue? Is Wallace crashing (grey screen) or is it uploading an unusual shape? I can better help if I have a more specific idea of what is going wrong. You can copy & paste the error message from the R terminal I can diagnose the problem.

Dear Wallace team,

I am currently working with Wallace Ecological Modeling Application v2.0 Vignette. I have resolved the Wallace crashing (grey screen) which occurs when uploading shape files in the user-specified study region (Process Envs Stage). However, I am now learning about the interpretation of the response curves. 

I have a request: Can you please share some published papers which have used Wallace for their work?

I need your assistance here.

I was running Wallace (v1.9.4)  for Borassus flabellifer. With selected features LQH and LQHP and selected regularization multipliers 0.5 to 3; multiplier step 5; Clamping TRUE; Parallel False

However, only two models ran. Please see the screenshot below and the session code.

Hi Suresh, 

I think you are missing a decimal and meant to set the multiplier step as 0.5, not 5. This is the incremental increase, so if the regularization starts at 0.5, the next value would be 5.5, but you set the upper limit to 3- this is why each feature class only has one model.

If you set the step value to 0.5, you will get 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 ... etc.... for both LQH and LQHP.

Hi sureshr, I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to upload my shapefile but for some reason, Wallace don't let me. Did you managed to resolve this problem?

Hi Diego,

Are you having the issue uploading a shapefile in the Process Envs component? And are you selecting all three files (.shp, .shx, and .dbf) or are you using a .csv file?

Thank you. I didn't realize I had to select all three files. But now I'm with another issue. Even tho I make my polygon with my points, for some result in this error ''The polygon did not include all localities. You can remove localities in Process Occs component".

The polygon you upload needs to encompass all the occurrence records. If for some reason any of the points are falling on the line(for example, if you uploaded a minimum convex polygon made from your records) then it will count them as falling outside. Try setting a very small buffer and see if that removes the error.
