Hi All!

I was wondering if anyone could assist with interpreting the niche overlap and similarity test results, currently none of my p-values are coming out significant so:

1. Wondering if anyone else has run into this, and what you did to try and get more significance in your p-values? My sample sizes are not super small, I have about 100-250 occurrence points for each species I am working with. Wondering if I need to narrow my BIOCLIM variables but then again the PCA kind of does that anyway.

2. If I have a niche overlap value of 0.02 for example, and then my p-value for the similarity test is 0.15, does this mean my niche overlap value is just totally unreliable? I have seen in some papers people interpreting similarity test p-values >0.05  as simply meaning the niches are not significantly similar....would this be correct?

Thanks all!
