Hi All,

We're currently in the process of overhauling our Places system and I'd like to draw your attention to this document which outlines these changes: http://wallab.ee/places/

To aid in this transition, we have created 2 beta APIs; /categories/ and /categories/# respectively.

We'd urge all of you to look at adopting these new APIs and coming to grips with our new Place categorisations as this will be a major change in v1.2

We will be automatically updating the existing APIs when we launch v1.2 so that they serve the new artwork and category names, so you may not have to change anything in your application. However, there are new features (such as parent categories) that you may want to adopt for the best user experience.
