Introducing Palantir, our new image processing servers

Hello All,

This is just an advisory notice to let you know that, as part of our big infrastructure updates, we've bought a new group of servers online with the nickname 'Palantir'. These servers are specifically for serving images (in multiple sizes and formats) and you'll be hearing more about them in the future.

In the mean time, nothing should have changed to alter your applications. If you are using our image API to get an image like this:


It will be automatically redirected with a 301 header to the new URL:


The API itself is unchanged; we are just redirecting to our new servers dedicated for imagery.

In the future, we'll be opening up Palantir by giving you the appropriate key for each image from our existing API calls. i.e. if you were looking at /sets/56, we'd give you the relevant keys so you can load the images.

If this change has caused any issues, just shout.
