Wallabee API in Perl?

Has anyone tried to get the Wallabee API functioning within Perl? I know PHP is close but wanted to try native Perl since it is my current environment.

I don't know of anybody using Perl but I'll shout if I find somebody. Alternatively, if you write a wrapper for the API in Perl we'll host it on the Developer site along with our other sample code :)
