Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed. Entelo said the acquisition will allow it to offer the end-to-end management of all candidate interactions from source to hire. The funding came from backers of both companies, including Battery Ventures, Shasta Ventures, USVP, 3TS Capital Partners, SC Ventures and StarVest Partners. The company, which will pay $26 a share, said the acquisition will allow it to offer a security cloud capable of protecting enterprise workloads and clients through big data, behavioral analytics and AI. "By bringing Carbon Black into the VMware family, we are now taking a huge step forward in security and delivering an enterprise-grade platform to administer and protect workloads, applications and networks," said CEO Pat Gelsinger.
