A wonderful beach and trail walk to the Warrior Rock Lighthouse. This
requires a $10 ODFW
parking permitwhich can be purchased on the many Business on Sauvie
Island. Example: from
the RV and Country store just off of Reeder Road on Sauvie Island,
located about 5.5 miles up
Reeder Road. There are rest rooms at the start, bring waterand/or sack
lunch to enjoy at the
Lighthouse

The walk is on paved sidewalks through nearby neighborhoods inhabited
for generations by
workers at the Thomas Kay Woolen Mill, the site of Willamette Heritage
Center,

event includes mill tours,
sheep shearing, fiber arts demonstrations, food and entertainment and is
from 10 AM to 4 PM.

before returning.
