EVENTS: 6 featured walks and 11 nearby YRE’s.
AWARD: No awards. IVV Credit walkers pay $4.00 to participate. Suggested Donations for Guest (Non IVV Credit) is $4.00 to help with the cost of this event and walks.

MISCELLANEOUS: Carry water, pets allowed on some walks. Dress appropriately for the season and weather conditions.

DIRECTIONS: Google/Apple Map location: Edgewater
Inn, 7800 Rogue River Drive, Shady Cove, Oregon.
From Oregon I-5 South - Take exit # 43 towards Gold
Hill and Crater Lake. In Gold Hill take Oregon Hwy 234
to Oregon Hwy 62. Left on Oregon Hwy 62 to Shady
Cove. After crossing the bridge turn Left to go to the
Edgewater Inn.
From Oregon I-5 North – Take exit #40 towards Gold
Hill. Left of Oregon Hwy 99. Left onto Second Ave and
turn Right on to Oregon 234. Continue as above.

TRAIL: (1B) Walk on paved & gravel streets and on the
fairly new sidewalks in town. The 5K goes North and the
6K goes South.

TRAIL: (2B) Walk on the Rogue River trail from the Lewis
River Trailhead for both routes.
For the 6k route, walk to the new bridge and turnaround to
return to the start. For the 10k route, cross the bridge and
continue to the Blue Grotto Falls. (Look for signage to
direct you to the falls).
CASEY COUNTY PARK (formerly a State Park)

TRAIL: (1B) Walk along the raging Rogue River to a
county operated fish hatchery and up to the William L.
Jess Dam impounding Lost Creek Lake and return.

TRAIL: (3B): Begin with a roughly mile and a half climb
to the top of this volcanic plateau and look down into
Medford and the surrounding area including Mount
McLoughlin.
There is an elevation gain of 820 feet. This is an out
and back walk.

TRAIL: (2b) This is a “Progressive Walk”. Park in the
parking lot by the Prospect Historic Hotel or where
legal parking is available. Walk to Pearsony Falls and
return to your vehicle. Drive approximately 1 mile to
the second parking lot. Here you will walk to a ”Y”
with the choice to see the Giant Boulders or the Mill
Creek & Barr Creek Falls or b

TRAIL: (1B 5K / 2C 10K)
Walk across the dam from the parking lot into
the forested area and return back across the
dam to the parking lot. Notice how large
Lost Creek Lake is.
There are additional walks/hikes available in the area.

A repeat of last year's revised routes. The 5k/10k have one hill l but rated 2A. The 6k is a 1A and
goes through downtown and flatter residential areas. The 5k/10k provide spectacular and colorful
fall views of the Valley & vineyards.

the park with optional routing in case of high water. The second goes out into the SE
neighborhood near the edge of rural Washington Count.

quiet streets and sidewalks. The NE loop (1A) is 6 km and goes into very nice neighborhood and
