Meander through attractive Hazel Dell neighborhoods and parks. The 10 km
walkers will enjoy a walk on a paved greenbelt trail thru a wetland
area. Finish with a well-deserved cup of Black Rock coffee.
The 5 km rated 1A (easy), and the 10 km rated 2A (moderate)

Join the Willamette Wanderers as they walk their 5/10k routes in
McMinnville.
Meet outside McMenamins Hotel Oregon, 310 NE Evans. McMinnville
5k focuses on the public art in downtown while the 10k continue to parks,
Linfield Univ & lovely older residential areas.
Driving directions: Going North on 99W (Baker St), right on 3rd.
Going South on 99W (Adams St), left on 3rd.
Two hour downtown parking restrictions but free parking at 5th/Davis
parking garage.

The 10km walk takes you through several parks with trails, into very
nice residential neighborhoods and goes past the Portland Oregon Temple
(LDS Temple). You will continue through more nice neighborhoods on your
return past the post office to the finish.
The 5km route takes you through two parks with trails and along a short
neighborhood stretch, then return to the Finish.

Description: The walk will start at First and Washington from the South
side entrance to the Carousel Blvd. which houses the Historic 1909
Gustev Dentzel Platform and Mechanism. Tours of the area in the basement
of the carousel building are available were one can watch some of the
future animals being carved. The walk will take you through the historic
areas of downtown Albany with many Queen Anne and Victorian homes.
Driving directions: From (Hwy.99) Pacific Blvd., in Albany, from North
or South take Downtown Corvallis exit. Go LEFT after 7 blocks on First
Avenue. Stay on 1st Ave. to Washington Street. Turn Right on Washington
to park at Monteith Park or along Water Street parking areas.
