route on paths and residential neighborhoods going through Oregon State
University campus and parks. See a “moon” tree grown from seed that
traveled into space and back.
Driving directions: "From N or S, take I-5 Exit 228 (Hwy34). Follow
signs to Corvallis. Go straight over bridge turning right on 2nd St. to
the motel. Ask at desk for blue WALK binder."

Description: Bayou Trails of Small Town American, 5/6/10/12k, rated 1A.
This walk begins by passing through a beautiful, award-winning Japanese
garden. It continues on paved trails along waterways and through farm
areas, as well as through old parts of the city of Lebanon; passing an
old train depot and part of the medical campus. It is a many faceted
walk with something for everyone. Pets are welcome but must obey cleanup
and leash laws; pets not allowed in buildings and posted areas. 
Restrooms are available at start and along routes, 5k town, 6k rural, 10k.
Driving directions: From north I-5 take exit 233. Turn Right at light
onto Hwy 20 Lebanon. Go 11 miles then turn right on Mullins drive and
right at circle to parking at end of Hotel. From I-5 south, exit 228
right on 34 Lebanon. Go 8 miles and left onto Main (20). Go .2 miles and
left on Mullins to Hotel as above. ask for binder at desk.

river and the bay as you walk both coasts of Newport along Nye Beach and
through Old Town, along the Bay Front, past Yaquina Bay Lighthouse and
through Yaquina Bay State Park. There is a 2K beach option available at
lower tides and dry weather.
Driving directions: From I5, take Hwy. 34/20 west to the coast. Turn
Left (South) on to Hwy. 101; Turn Right (West) at Case Street; Turn
Right (North) at Elizabeth.  Ask for Start box at the front desk.

39th Street & turn RIGHT. ALL TURN RIGHT on Daniels Street. Lincoln
School will be on your left
after about 5 blocks. Park in the school parking lot at the front of the
school, or on the streets near
the school.
Comments
Stroll thru the Lincoln neighborhood and be astounded at the many houses
dressed up to the hilt
for Halloween. Take a little extra time at the special "Halloween House"
where the decorations are
over the top. Pets allowed, but not in buildings. Cleanup after your pets
