New Start Box Salem Hospital

Willamette Wanderers of Salem, OR now have their walk cabinet back in Bldg A (ER) of Salem Hospital where it is available 24/7.  The cabinet is a 2 drawer black metal cabinet with a locked drawer where payment can be inserted into the slot.  The cabinet is at the Volunteer Sign-In location to the right of the Bldg A entrance.  It fits perfectly under the stand holding the Volunteer computer.  A mask is to be worn inside the hospital, and there are available masks.

 There is a notebook for each of the walks:  Waterways, Old South Salem and Minto-Brown Island Park (remote walk).  AVA 2022 & 2023 websites have been updated for these walks although it wasn’t possible to update the 2023 AVA Starting Point.

 Driving directions:  Salem Hospital, Bldg A (ER), 890 Oak St SE, Salem. I-5, exit 253, go to Salem City Center. Follow Mission passing 12th Street traffic light to next traffic light. Right on Capitol to parking garage with free parking on levels 1-3.
