The 5 km walk will go down Main St. then enter into the US Fish and Wildlife Refuse area on
developed trails. The 10 km will continue into Abrams Park, more trails & nice homes.

Important event information
The route will take you past residential areas and the old town areas of the city to the Ridgefield
Wildlife Refuge. The route then goes on trails in the wildlife areas of the National Wildlife Refuge
until reaching the Cathlapotle Plankhouse. Return to old town areas. For the 10 km continue to
newer residential area with trails in Abrams Park.
Directions to the start table
I-5 northbound take exit 14 Ridgefield. LEFT on Pioneer St and continue west on Pioneer St
through 3 traffic circles (3 miles) reaching Main St. RIGHT on Main St. three blocks
Comments
The 5 & 10 km walk will go down Main St. then enter into the US Fish and Wildlife Refuse area on
developed trails passing through a wildlife area, also passing the Plankhouse, a recreated Native
American dwelling and back on a paved road to Davis Park. The 10 km will continue by going
into Abrams Park and on a fairly steep trail into new residential areas before returning to Davis
Park.
