OK, I'll start -- if I do NOT want to make my walks public is there a way to hide them?

Hey! Great question. So actually nobody is able to see your walks, even people in your groups. Your walk data never even leaves your phone, the only thing that gets sent to the server is how many blocks you've walked (not even which blocks those are). I'm planning to make that more clear in a later update!
