Join us to recognize Nov 19th World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims

Dear WalkMedford,

This Sunday, November 19th, 2023, is the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. 

The Route 16 Coalition, WalkMedford, Somerville Alliance for Safe Streets, Everywhere Arlington Liveable Streets, and Somerville City Council will be holding a joint event to recognize this day. 

The focus of the day will be on local families who have been impacted by a traffic crash, as well as action items that would help slow drivers (like passing Automated Enforcement) and change road design to make these speedways less dangerous.
