Otherwise knows as scooters and bicycles. The current five-year contract is up in June and I doubt this will be finished by then. Bird, Spin, Lime, Veo and Bolt have indicated interest.
Feel free to read it and let me know what it says. I’ll review it at some point before Tuesday’s meeting of the Transportation Licensing Commission. The commission can place additional requirements in the RFQ if we want.

I might note that Metro collects over $300,000 per year from Bird, Spin and Lime. We do not have a full-time Metro employee dedicated to micro-mobility. The TLC staff is extremely competent and does a good job but they are regulators not program managers.
I’m not aware of any plans for micromobility from the O’Connell administration. Any program initiatives have come from the operators not Metro except the effort to place scooters at bus stops.
