Dear Friends of the Many Horses Foundation,

This has been an exciting year for the Many Horses Foundation.

·         This summer we completed the Walk for the Water here in Georgia during which we brought in Elders from California, Montana, Canada and New Mexico to participate as well as Dr. Masaru Emoto from Japan. These were unique opportunities to bring together people from all walks of life and from around the world to draw attention to our responsibility to the natural world and to pray for the water which sustains all of life.

• We supported the Longest Walk II for the environment and protection of sacred sites which ended in Washington, D.C. in the summer of 2008.

 

• We have supported bringing elders in for numerous sweat lodges throughout  the year as well as the Healing Animal Spirit Dance ceremony performed at Enota, Canton and Bremen during which powerful healings took place. There are plans for the Animal Spirit Dance to be performed in both Tennessee and Virginia next year.

 

• We supported the production of the Message from a Mohawk Child  CD by Danny Beaton.

 

• We maintain our main website www.manyhorses.org so people will know of the ceremonies, healing circles and teachings available. In addition, we developed a site for the walk at www.walkforthewater.org

 

• We were able to provide accommodations and assistance to traveling elders who came through to share their teachings with us.

 

• We annually provide gift cards for a large family living on a Montana reservation to help them celebrate the holidays.

 

While we are excited about being able to accomplish all of these things, there is so much more to be done. With your support we can continue this work which is so important. None of the money contributed to Many Horses Foundation goes for operating expenses and none goes to any individual. All of the donations go towards our projects which include everything mentioned above and more.  We are a 501(c)(3) organization which means that all donations are tax deductible to you to the extent provided by law.
