This is a reminder that there will be a sweat tomorrow at Lupe’s 441 Hidden Branches Trail,  Canton Ga. We are building the lodge in the morning and then sweating in the early afternoon.

We are doing the sweat lodge this Sunday, May 3rd  in Canton at exit 16 off I-575 which is highway 140E. It is only about 35 minutes from Sandy Springs to the lodge in Canton. At exit 16, turn right go about 1.8 miles and turn left onto Hidden Branches Tr. Go about ¼ mile on hidden branches tr until you reach number 441 Hidden Branches Trail Canton 30115 on the left. The lodge is in the back yard. Please bring a dish or drink to serve around 20-30 people for the feast which follows the lodge and is part of the ceremony. Also any split wood would be most appreciated.  Please read about sweat protocol at www.manyhorses.org ( bring ½ yard cotton cloth and a pouch of rolling tobacco if you have special prayers to offer up, wear trunks into the lodge, bring two towels-one to sit on and one to use after the outdoor shower, it is customary to show that you received value from the sweat by giving the water pourer a monetary exchange and by shaking the firekeepers’ hands.) Ceremonies are free, I am just letting you know the traditional way. We will sweat early in the afternonn, then feast.
