הנה שלושה מקרים, של אנשים שאני מכירה אישית:

3. Ahmed Abu-Ras, entered Israel without a permit, his personal belongings were taken and lost.

 

של מי האדמה: שני מקרים של אנשים שנאחזים באדמה של משפחתם, מול גורמים המנסים לקחת אותה מהם. - האם זה צירוף מקרים, או שאולי יש קשר בין השניים (ועוד הרבה מקרים דומים)?

 

1. לעבד רבה יש חלקת אדמה, שירש מאביו וסבו, במבואותיה הדרומיים של ירושלים, למרגלות הכפר הפלסטיני וואלג'ה, ממול לגן החיות התנ"כי, צופה אל גילה, ואל שכונות ירושלים. בשנים האחרונות הוקם מחסום צה"ל על הכביש שלמרגלות החלקה (הכביש המוביל ממלחה לכיוון בי"ס שדה הר-גילה וכו', על צלע המדרון הדרום-מזרחי של עמק רפאים).

 

מאחר שהמקום מהווה באופן טבעי מעין "מפגש-גבולות", הוא מיוחד בכך שהוא נגיש גם לישראלים וגם לפלסטינים, וכמובן גם לאזרחים זרים. מכיוון שכך, עבד טיפח בחלקת האדמה הזו שלו, מלבד גידולי ירקות ועצי פרי בשיטות חקלאות מסורתית, גם מקום מפגש בין-לאומי בין-דתי ליצירת קשר בלתי-אמצעי בין אנשים מעמים שונים, להיכרות, חברות ושלום. בין מגוון הפעילויות שנעשו במקום: ערבי מוסיקה של "קפה כל העמים" (All Nations' Cafe), סדנאות פרמקלצ'ר, שוק איכרים ותוצרת פלסטינית, מעגלי הקשבה של קבוצות שונות, חוג יוגה, ועוד ועוד... עבד אומר שהוא "הנשיא של האהבה והשלום".

 

בשבוע-שבועיים האחרונים עבד זוכה לביקורים מידי בוקר מצד אנשי מג"ב המאיישים את המחסום שלמטה, במיוחד אחד שחוזר ואומר לו שאין לו רשיון להיות באדמתו (שהיא ירושה כאמור, והיתה ברשות המשפחה עוד מלפני קום מדינת ישראל והיות הגבולות למיניהם) ושעליו לעזוב את המקום. עבד נלקח פעמים רבות ל"חקירה" בתחנת משטרה ומשוחרר במחסום אחר, הרחק מאדמתו, וחוזר אליה כל פעם בכוחות עצמו. וכך כמעט מידי בוקר. הבוקר היו אצלו שוטר במדים כחולים של משטרה "רגילה", נציג משרד הפנים, ושוטר מג"ב. כל המשלחת הזאת הגישה לו זימון למשטרת תלפיות למחר בשעה 8.00 בבוקר. 

 

להוסיף על התמונה - ישנו בעל הון ברקע, המסתובב ומרחרח, ומביע עניין בנדל"ן, ובכוונתו לבנות במקום שכונת מגורים, ליהודים (כמובן!).

 

- עבד מאד ישמח לעזרה כדלהלן:

2. נורי אלעוקבי - בדואי ישראלי מספר, שלשום (23.8.09) (נורי שוהה באדמותיו לבדו כבר כמה שנים, וסובל מהתנכלויות חוזרות ונשנות מצד "הסיירת הירוקה", רחל):

 

" נכדי עמיר, בן 10, בא לשהות איתי בימי צום הרמדאן, באדמות אל-ערקיב שהיו אדמות השבט שלנו מזה דורות . לפתע הגיעו שלושה אנשי הסיירת הירוקה, התנפלו בברוטליות, חתכו בסכין את כבלי האוהל ולקחו אותו, וגם את השולחן המאולתר שהכנתי מכמה קרשים. השאירו אותי ואת הילד המפוחד באמצע המדבר, תחת השמש הלוהטת, כשהם יודעים שאני צם ולא אוכל לשתות עד שקיעת השמש" אומר נורי אל עוקבי, ראש האגודה להגנה על זכויות הבדואים. "בראש אנשי הסיירת הירוקה עמד אדם בשם גד ביטון, שכבר תקף אותי בעבר וגרם לי חבלה. שני האחרים, שהיו חמושים באקדחים, סרבו להזדהות".

 

נורי אלעוקבי אומר כי האלימות של אנשי הסיירת הירוקה לא תרתיע אותו מלהמשיך במאבקו ובשביתת השבת שהוא מקיים באדמות אל ערקיב, מצפון מערב לבאר-שבע, מהן גורש שבטו בשנת 1951. "אני לא זר באדמה הזאת, ולא פולש. פה נולדתי וחייתי כילד, פה גרו בני שבט אל עוקבי במשך דורות לפני שקמה מדינת ישראל. חזרתי לאדמה הזאת באפריל 2006, אני יושב פה, בכל פעם שנעצרתי או הותקפתי חזרתי לכאן מייד, ואני אמשיך לשבת כאן למרות כל הקשיים וההתנכלויות, עד שייעשה צדק לבני השבט שלי".

3. אחמד אבו-ראס, צעיר פלסטיני מהכפר סאווייה, לייד צומת תפוח, הסתנן לישראל ללא אישור כניסה, על מנת לחפש עבודה ופרנסה לו ולמשפחתו, כמו שעושים רבים מבני הכפר הזה (ואחרים). בתאריך 10.2.09  הוא נתפס ונכלא בתחנת המשטרה "לב תל-אביב", ברח' דיזנגוף בתל-אביב. חפצים אישיים שהיו ברשותו נלקחו ממנו, ובתמורה ניתן לו פתק עם הפירוט: 56.60 ש"ח במזומן, שני מפתחות, ומכשיר טלפון נייד. בהמשך הועבר אחמד לבית המעצר באבו-כביר, אחר-כך שוחרר בערבות, כעבור עוד כמה חודשים נשפט, קיבל גזר דין - מאסר על תנאי וקנס כספי. ומה עלה בגורל אותם החפצים האישיים שהיו ברשותו בעת מעצרו? אין איש יודע. בתאריך 23.8.09 הלכתי אני (רחל) עם הפתק הנ"ל, ועם יפוי כוח מאחמד (שהוא עצמו כאמור מנוע מלהיכנס לישראל), לבית המעצר באבו-כביר. שם נאמר לי שחפצים נמצאים בתחנת המשטרה "לב תל-אביב", שהפתק הוצא על ידה. ניגשתי לשם, אך נעניתי שהחפצים הועברו על ידם לארגון הפלסטיני "הסהר האדום", על מנת שיחזיר אותם לבעליהם. בירור של אחמד בסהר האדום, וגם בצלב האדום, העלה שאף אחד משני הארגונים מעולם לא קיבלו את החפצים הנ"ל. אחמד אומר שהוא זקוק במיוחד לטלפון, שבו היו שמורים מספרי טלפון שחשובים לו.

 

- מי מכיר,  מי יודע? האומנם החפצים של אחמד נבלעו באדמה או נחטפו על ידי חייזרים בדרך בין משטרת ישראל לארגון הפלסטיני? לי אין רעיון אחר. כל מי שיכול לסייע לאתר את החפצים האמורים - אשמח.

 

בנוסף - אחמד גם לא קיבל מבית המשפט את יתרת הכסף שהיה מופקד בערבות בעדו, לאחר ניכוי הקנס שנגזר עליו, דהיינו - 4,000-1,500=2,500 ש"ח.

1. Abed Raba has a piece of land which he inherited from his father and grandfather, on the south-east slope of Nahal Refaim, south of Jerusalem, overlooking the biblical zoo, Ein-Yael, Gilo and neighborhoods of Jerusalem. Abed llives on this land of his, and its special location has made it a natural meeting place for Israelis, Palestinians, and internationals, who come to make personal acquaintances and contacts across nationalities and faiths. Among the activities that take place there are: musical gatherings of "All Nations Cafe", workshops of Permaculture, marketing of Palestinian products, meetings and listening circles of various groups of peace activists, and Yoga classes, and more... Abed says he's "The president of Love and Peace".

 

In the past couple of weeks Abed has received daily "visits" from policemen from the checkpoint below, who threatened him and said he has no right to be on the land and must get out of there. He was taken several times for "questioning" at a police station and released at a checkpoint far from his land, having to come back on his own every time. This morning (Tues. 25.8.09) three people came: one "regular" policeman with blue uniform, one representative of the Israeli ministry of interiors, and one border police man from the checkpoint. They presented him with a summon for questioning first thing tomorrow morning at 8.00 at the police station in Talpiot.

 

To add to the picture - in the background there is a rich man who is showing some interest in the real-estate and has intentions of building a neighborhood for Jews.

 

Abed would be happy to receive help in the following ways:

+ encouragement, moral support, even over the phone, to show him that there are people standing by him.

+ physical presence in the place - by a number of people, for as long as possible, to discourage any violence from authority representatives.

+ spread the word, tell the story, anywhere you can think of: friends, emails, internet, written and electronic media, etc.

2. Nuri El-Okbi - Israeli Bedui - Negev:

"My grandson, Amir, 10 years old, came to stay with me during the Ramadan fast, on the lands of al-Arkib, which had been our tribe's land for generations.  Suddenly, three members of the so-called "Green Patrol" showed up, brutally charged and cut with a knife the ropes of my tent.  They took away the tent and the table which I had improvised from some pieces of wood.  They left me and the frightened child in the middle of the desert, under the blazing sun, knowing well that I am fasting, and that however thirsty, I would not drink until sunset," says Nuri al Ukbi, Head of the Association for Defence of Bedouin Rights.  "The Green Patrol people were headed by a man named Gad Beton, who had already assaulted me on previous occasions.  the other two, armed with pistols, refused to identify themselves."

 

Nuri al Ukbi says that the Green Patrol violence will not deter him from continuing his struggle and the sit-in vigil which he is maintaining in the Al-Arkib lands, northeast of Be'er Sheba, from which his tribe was expelled in 1951.  "I am not a stranger in this land, nor a squatter or trespasser.  I was born here and lived here as a child, and here the al-Ukbi tribe lived for generations before the state of Israel came into being.  I came back to this land in April 2006; I live on it, and I came back every time after being detained or assaulted.  I will continue to sit here despite all the difficulties and harassment, until justice is done to my tribe."

3. Ahmad Abu-Ras is a young man from a Palestinian village called "Sawiya", near Tapuach junction. Ahmad entered Israel without a permit, seeking work and income for himself and his family, as do many people from that village (and others). Ahmad was arrested on 10.2.09 and held at the "Lev Tel-Aviv" police station in Dizengof st. in Tel-Aviv, then transferred to Abu Kabir, then released on bale. In his trial, a few months later, he was fined and sentenced to conditional arrest. At the time of his arrest his personal belongings were taken from him, and he got a note with the following list: 56.60 NIS in cash, two keys, and a cellular phone. This week (23.8.09), I went to Abu-Kabir with that note, and with a power of attorney from Ahmad, to try and get his personal belongings back. I was directed to the "Lev-Tel-Aviv" police station, and when I arrived there with the same quest, I was told that the stuff were handed to a Palestinian aid organization called "The red crescent". Ahmad inquired in both the red crescent and the red cross, but learned that neither one of them has ever received any of his a.m. belongings.

 

- Where have they disappeared? somewhere between the Israeli police and the red crescent or the red cross - it's a mystery to me, I would appreciate if anyone has any idea. Also, Ahmed is still waiting to receive from the Israeli court the balance of his bale money, after deduction of the fine - i.e.: 4,000-1,500=2,500 NIS.
