Bike to School meeting--Sat, Feb 8

Hi All,

Just wanted to remind you all about the Bike to School meeting this Saturday hosted by Cascade Bicycle Club and Washington Bikes (formerly Bike Alliance of Washington).  The workshop is designed for those interested in starting a BTS program in their community.  Many of you at Walk.bike.schools have been doing this work for years, and all are encouraged to attend to share their ideas and expertise.  Community leaders from Mount Vernon, Redmond, Edmonds, and White Center, representing elementary, middle and high schools will be there to join the conversation.

Schedule: 

10:30 - noon   How to Start a Bike to School Program/Funding Resources

Noon - 1 p.m.  Bike Train Training

1 - 2 p.m.         Ideas for Organizing a Bike Rodeo Community Event
