Complete Streets Vote and White Sulphur Tour June 30, July 1

Should be an entertaining City Commission meeting tomorrow night in Great Falls.  Complete Streets resolution is up for a vote.  Commission is split with the Mayor the deciding vote.  My Editorial should be in the paper in the morning.  Not sure if the opposition has a piece up against us.  Their web site is sure entertaining.  Link Here.  Big party planned ahead of the meeting for supporters.  Stop by if you are in town.

 

On a separate note, GFBC has organized an overnight ride on one of the best cycling roads in Montana with one of the best destinations.  Check it out.  Reply to Jim Gold if this sounds like your idea of fun.  I'll definitely be coming along.

 

With the 4th of July landing mid-week this year, perhaps taking long weekend isn’t in the schedule. How about a this?

The GFBC is sponsoring the Little Belt Adventure – a 150-mile round trip ride from Armington Junction, near Belt to White Sulphur Springs and back.

It’s a lightly supported overnight ride through the Little Belt Mountains, on the King’s Hill Scenic Byway.

 

 Join us for good fun, good friends, good climbing and fabulous downhill.  There is no fee for the ride, but we would like a headcount before June 28th
