ABQ RIDE is seeking your input
for a new Rapid Ride bus route
A total of nine public meetings will be held – one in each City Council district. ABQ RIDE (the City’s Transit Department) wishes to determine how best to use six new Rapid Ride buses that will be arriving this month. The department is seeking suggestions on where a Rapid Ride route would be most needed.

ABQ RIDE began Rapid Ride service along Central Avenue in December 2004. The service has been very successful. Since implementation, the already heavy transit ridership along the corridor has increased by 50 percent. Rapid Ride features frequent service with low-floor vehicles, fewer stops, and priority through traffic signals.
