Hi,

We had a small but productive group removing lesser celandine yesterday.  We filled two yard waste bags.

Bill Lyons and Richa Jhaldiyal came with both shovel and trowel. Jules Myers came with her hori hori knife, and Jo Conaway came with her kneeling pad, trowel and even a kitchen knife.

We worked in an area near the bridge where the city had done some construction and the lesser celandine spread rapidly in the disturbed area.

Tim Hooks visited to see what to remove and how.

I  am working almost daily in the ravine right now to remove as much as possible while this is visible.  I encourage everyone to do the same. Now is the time to fight it.

Thanks to all who are working on their own properties one way or another.

Keep at it.  I'm willing to take time whenever to show how to dig this and get all its bits.

Thank you for organizing us, Cindy. It was a great experience to be in the ravine with everyone - and we even had a duck, and eventually her mate, keeping us company!
