another cracking gig at the Sol Bar again last night but another poor turn
out. It was free entry and two fairly local bands, Stickman and Voderman,
were among the four that played but still no one came. During the third band
on I looked across to see how many people were watching and it was only me
and the promoters.
It's a shame if west Wales lost this venue after the money that been put in
by the management company, who want to make this a tj's for west Wales.
Bands lined up to play there later in the year include; Fishbone, Reef, Cap
Down and the Stiff Little Fingers. They'll be putting free busses on for
those gigs but that depends on whether or not the promoters pull the plug
after the poor turn out on the Wednesday night gigs. Next Wednesday, Goatboy
are headlining, please spread the word.
