I really enjoyed compiling technology tools as a group, because it
allowed all of us to gain more information. I feel well prepared to
introduce UDL and DI to other teachers in my building, as well as my
principal. In addition, I feel I have gained a new outlook on how to
meet the needs of all learners in my classroom through the use of
technology. I plan to have my students take an interest survey during
the first week of school, and incorporate blogging, podcasts, and
taking a virtual field trip into my lessons this school year. I would
like to incorporate more technology and use all of the tools given to
my group members, but I understand I need to pace myself and utilize
the tools in slow and comfortable speed. By adding these four new
pieces of technology into my classroom, I will be able to meet more
students learning styles and needs, and engage them to think about
what they have learned in class throughout their day. I am excited
for this school year to start.
