Readiness
http://education.smarttech.com/ste/en-US/Ed+Resource/Lesson+activities/Senteo/
Senteo is a student response system that works with a SmartBoard.
There are many different ways that they can be utilized in the
classroom. They can be used to pre or post test, as a survey, or for
gathering information about or for our students. I would use them to
see how much prior knowledge my students have about a certain
subject. Using a Senteo is another way to use technology in our
classrooms to reach students in new and diverse ways.
Interest
http://www.pelinks4u.org/
This is a physical education website that I use quite often. It
offers many different resources for both students and teachers. There
are many different lesson ideas for teachers and also many different
games and activities for students to do at home. There is also a
section for online quizzes that students could take either at home or
at school. These are premade quizzes about a wide array of topics
related to PE.

I know that this is a site that we are all familiar with but this
article seemed to have a lot of great information on it. It talks
about how students learn and why they all learn in different ways.
There are also quite a few links off of this page to other sites that
would also be beneficial.

Ryan,
I like the PELINKS4U website...what a great collection of resources!
I think the publisher has some really good ideas about the future of
physical education as well. With all the podcasts and unit plans this
could be a site that you could get a lot of ideas from.

Ryan,
Thanks for the sites. I am going to share the SmartBoard site
with the teachers in my building. Over half the staff in my building
received SmartBoards last year, and I am sure they would love that
link.
