So...... I am leaving for vacation to Mexico on Sunday and will be
gone for the week. I have been working on my presentation trying to
get it finished before I leave. I decided that creating a web page
would be the easiest choice for me. I have never created a website
before, but I found Google Sites very easy to use. It has templates
and and help section that have been very useful. I think that if you
have never created a website before, this is a pretty good place to
start. And it's FREE!

On the Google site choose the "more" tab at the top. Then choose
Sites. It will take you through step by step to create your page.

While researching on the web, I found some sites I thought were
helpful. I linked some to the webpage I created because they had
interesting articles or charts. Here are just a few:

http://www.sedl.org/scimath/compass/v03n02/brain.html ( Article on how
research on the brain can inform education)

http://www.newhorizons.org/neuro/front_neuro.html ( Several Articles
on the Brain and education)

http://www.washington.edu/doit/Brochures/Academics/equal_access_udi.html
( Has a checklist for Universal Design in the classroom)

http://teachingeverystudent.blogspot.com/2007/06/free-technology-toolkit-for-udl-in-all.html
(Technology tool kit for UDL. Lots of cool links)

http://www.advocacyinstitute.org/UDL/resources.shtml (Info on UDL)

I'm sure many of you have found other great sites as well. I look
forward to seeing the resources you all have located!
