Wow, this website was fantastic. There is so much here that I can use I'm not sure where to start. One of the resources I found in the pages and folders tab was called a Say, Mean, Matter chart. Bsically, what did the text say, what did it mean, and why does it matter. I like that fact that this chart encourages student to use critical thinking skill and move beyond meaning into implication or application.
 
This is a tool that I will use with my juniors in American Literature. I think it will help them take a deeper look at several texts including The Constitution, The Declaration of Independence. I can also use it when we begin discussing some of the local colorists such as Mark Twain and Brett Harte.
 
I have already saved this site into my favorites list on my school laptop.  Thanks!
