"All Ghillied Up" is the thirteenth (chronologically, the first) mission of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. This is a flashback of one of Captain Price's earlier missions as a Lieutenant. He and Captain MacMillan must sneak to a vantage point in a hotel to assassinate Imran Zakhaev. Chronologically, it is the first mission of Call of Duty 4, as well as the first in the Modern Warfare series.

Unlike the typical mission introductions of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare which seem to be high-tech large computer screens, the briefing for All Ghillied Up is a print map with photographs pinned on it. Also adding to the nostalgia of the flashback, the briefing makes a transition from the modern screen to an old-fashioned film reel projector with cue marks, and the mission starts in black-and-white before immediately transitioning to color.

A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 player was able to take down the sniper found in the Cartel Protection mission. Throughout the history of shooters, gamers have been able to make impressive shots that earned them amazing kills. Call of Duty has its share of great moments, as many players have seen their share of awesome plays being made during matches.

The Modern Warfare 2 campaign is already available to those who preordered the game. One of the missions is called Cartel Protection, and sees Ghost and Soap working with the Mexican Special Forces. During the mission, players will come across a sniper, which one player was able to bait out and kill.

A Redditor named doughy_baby uploaded a clip showing them eliminate the sniper encountered during the Cartel Protection mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The video shows them launching grenades into the air, almost aimlessly. The player then looks into the distance for a bit before shooting one last round. They look through their scopes and see the explosion from the grenade they fired take out the sniper trying to hide among a group of trees. The shot was amazing and shows what a bit of patience can do for someone in a shooter.

The Modern Warfare 2 Recon by Fire mission is a stealth-sniper mission, taking Gaz and Price through an estate in Galicia, Spain. The mission involves navigating a large field area, sneaking their way through the sniper fields, cartel towns, and doing some snipping of their own. This is one of the longer and more hard work missions in the MW2 campaign. Here is an MW2 Recon by Fire walkthrough, offering you some great tips and tricks to beat this mission.

Note, doing this mission stealthy up to completing the second sniper area awards the player with an achievement, nobody was there. This requires you to complete up to the second sniper section without raising the alarm. Players can reload to the checkpoint if they mess up, and you can also go a little louder during the first compound section when you need to check the two buildings.

You should begin the mission by eliminating two unsuspecting snipers. Stay prone and scout the cartel men right ahead of you with your rifle's thermal scope. Instead of engaging, follow Captain Price and remain hidden.

The Call of Duty franchise has a long history of stellar campaigns dating back to the original game. In 2007, the Modern Warfare series officially started. It was so successful Infinity Ward wanted the sequel to simply be called Modern Warfare 2 since they thought it could be its own intellectual property. The Modern Warfare games influenced many shooters at the time, and all of them had some great missions.

The two sniper sections are well done and challenging since you need to line up the shots and sometimes reposition yourself so you can kill two guards in one. Hiding on the ground is much tenser because guards find you easier due to the pathways they take. Clearing out the buildings from the roof is also super tense, especially on Veteran. Gameplay-wise, this is the best mission in the game.

Technically, there are 15 missions if you include the 'Countdown' sequence after the 'Trojan Horse' last mission, but Countdown doesn't appear on the in-game mission list menu, and doesn't reward anything when you complete it.

It is a rarely seen weapon in singleplayer, only occasionally used by some enemies, typically without any attachments. Its sole "special" appearance in singleplayer is in the 1996 mission "All Ghillied Up" with suppressor and red dot sight, and in this case it is anachronistic; while the original P90 was available during that time, the TR variant was introduced three years later.

The H&K G36C is the first weapon the player get to use in the campaign. It is Gaz's signature weapon, and also used by other SAS soldiers, the Russian loyalists in the mission "Safehouse" and by many enemies late in the game. It anachronistically appears in "All Ghillied Up" and "One Shot, One Kill", both set in 1996; while the production of the original G36 began during that time, the G36C itself was not introduced until 2001. It is always equipped with a Tasco red dot scope in singleplayer.

A unique suppressed and camouflaged ghillie M21 is used by both Soap in "Blackout" and Price and MacMillian in the two flashback missions. Outside of these missions, the M21 remains unsuppressed, and there is no option to suppress it in multiplayer, like the rest of the sniper rifles.

The M40A3 is only usable in multiplayer, most likely due to a USMC sniper mission being cut from singleplayer, and it is similar in performance to the R700 - more accurate and almost as powerful. It holds five rounds in an integral box-magazine which has to be loaded one bullet at a time. A M40 rifle with a desert camo stock can be seen in the SAS armory. In multiplayer, it is generally the most popular sniper rifle, due to an oversight that increases its base damage when attached with an ACOG scope.

The FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank guided missile launcher is used in the single-player missions "War Pig" and "Heat" to destroy enemy tanks; it is single-shot and requires a lock-on to fire and can only lock onto (and thus fire at) those tanks; in-game the entire unit, launch tube and command launch unit combined, is discarded after firing for the user to pull a new fully-formed one out of nowhere. A direct-attack mode Javelin can be found near the missile silos on "All In." In both modes the Javelin is shown firing at impossibly short range: it climbs practically vertically rather than at a steep diagonal, and should not be able to hit targets closer than 160m in indirect mode or 65m in direct mode.

The Shipunov 2A42 is mounted on Mi-28N Havoc helicopters, which are used by Ultranationalist rebels and Russian loyalist forces. Mi-28N Havocs anachronistically appear in the missions "All Ghilled Up" and "One Shot, One Kill" that take place in 1996, as the all-weather Mi-28N (distinguished by the mast-mounted radar) was not operational until 2006; the first prototype only had its first flight in November of 1996. BMP-2 IFVs also use the Shipunov 2A42.

A Cheyenne Tactical M-200 Intervention with some cosmetic alterations was added to Modern Warfare Remastered via an update on June 27, 2017, called the "S-Tac Aggressor". It is shown with a handguard that looks similar to that of a PGW LRT-3 sniper rifle.

At the beginning of the second mission called Kill or Capture, you'll see the cutscene that takes place a couple of months later. After several minutes of the story, you'll be put on the field with ruins. You need to follow the squad, everything is covered with night vision.

Cover your squad with the sniper rifle and slowly approach the house. The helicopter will approach and shoot at the house to make the mission easier. Air Support does what it is supposed to do, it supports you from the air pretty effectively.

Recon By Fire doesn't ride Call of Duty 4's coattails for too long, though. Once Gaz and Captain Price clear the mountainside, the pair scope in to pick off baddies in a compound a whopping 600 meters away. Instead of doing the same "watch the flag" trick to account for wind deviation, Infinity Ward takes cues from dedicated sniping series like Sniper Elite and Ghost Warrior, with Price feeding Gaz tips for calculating bullet drop with the scope's notches. "400 meters. Compensate two and a half notches." While I don't think actual scout snipers need their spotter to teach them the basics of scopes while on missions, it's well-integrated guidance that reaches for greater authenticity in sniping (scope notches are typically just for show in other games).

Then, Infinity Ward flexes its Warzone map muscles by making you go to the place you just shot at from half a kilometer away, revealing that the whole area around you is not a curated funnel of invisible walls, but one big sandbox. The hour-long blend of incognito sniper operations and stealth-action infiltration is a near-perfect example of Call of Duty doing the thing that we always ask it to do: change! Unlike most of the other levels in Modern Warfare 2's 17-mission run, I can't point to Recon By Fire and declare it a cheap knockoff of some other sniper mission from eight CoDs ago. I can, however, point out that if you want sniper missions similar to this that are a little more hardcore, you should really play Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2.
