[Wala-wala] Slicing Android App with WALA

Hi, 

I would like to ask how to feed WALA with the main class , while I have no single main method ( single entry point) in Android?

I've read about Thresher and Hooper, but it still is not clear for me how to use them to solve the problem? 

I would be so thankful for any help!

Hi Hanin,

Droidel is the tool that Hopper used to generate harnesses for Android apps:

https://github.com/cuplv/droidel

I don’t really know if it is up to date anymore.  There may be other tools to model Android entry points out there now; I’m not too sure.  Hope that helps!

Hi Hanin, no concrete suggestions related to WALA.  You could send a note to Eric Bodden or Ben Hermann who have both worked recently on Android static analysis.  They may have info on the availability of flow-sensitive harnesses.
