Panacea Blue Crab Festival This Weekend!

Dear WCHS members,

This Saturday, May 2, 2009 is the annual Blue Crab Festival in
Panacea. The Historical Society will have a booth there. In addition
to our usual assortment of goodies that we sell, we will also be
selling the recently published Wakulla County Heritage Books. Some of
you may have submitted stories for this book. It is a great addition
to any home library and makes a great gift as well. So come check out
our booth this Saturday at the festival at Wolley Park in Panacea. If
you are interested in helping out for any amount of time please let me
know by emailing me at barbara...@yahoo.com. Jim Calhoun is asking
for volunteers to help him set up our booth and replica house on
Friday. If you are able to assist with this please email me and I will
forward your information on to Jim. Also, you should be recieving the
latest edition of our newsletter soon, either by email or post, so
keep an eye out for that. It will have information about our upcoming
meeting on May 12, which will be held at the Old Courthouse at 7pm. So
please mark you calendars for that and note the change in venue. Hope
