Hi -- I just heard that this Tuesday's historical society presentation
is all about state parks. Particularly, of course, Wakulla Springs
State Park. How appropriate: 2010 is the 75th anniversary of Florida
State Parks. I love our parks, all of them. We have quite a few right
here in Wakulla County. Do you know them all? Anyway, you'll know
after you come and hear Jeff Hugo from Wakulla Springs talk. He calls
his exciting presentation "Wakulla Springs: Hub of Exploration" and
he'll be at the Wakulla County Library on Tuesday at 7 pm. What is it?
Jeff says it is a whirlwind visual tour of the park, its history, and
some of the people who have and do make it special. But being a
dedicated park ranger, Jeff cannot resist telling us all about other
regional opportunities for discovery. -- Madeleine
